A tasting evening: Sherry wines and their history
Last Friday we held a very special evening at La Quinta Almena: a tasting dedicated to the wines of Jerez, one of the most underrated gems of Spanish oenology.
Guided by an expert oenologist, our guests were able to discover the richness and diversity of the Marco de Jerez. From the driest and most pungent finos to the sweetest and most complex Pedro Ximénez, each glass told a story of tradition and craftsmanship.
The tasting included pairings prepared by our chef: garlic prawns with fino, aged cheese with amontillado, and our cheesecake with Pedro Ximénez.
